Option 1 – Store Visit/Counter Sketch

No Charge

The customer provides their own measurements of the area to be landscaped.  The customer will need to bring in a sketch and/or picture of the house or area to the store.  Our store staff will go over the measurements with you, show you plant selections, make suggestions, and provide a rough estimate for the project.  We offer this service at no charge.

Option 2 – Consultation and Sketch

Fees start at $75.00 which can be fully credited toward project purchases exceeding $500.00 with in one year

This option includes (1) appointment with a designer unless the designer determines that a second appointment is necessary.  This appointment can be held at our garden center or at the customer’s home or project site.  During this consultation, the location and function of the project will be discussed.  In addition, the designer will take measurements, review plant books, review landscape interview form, and provide a sketch and rough estimate.  This consultation fee covers verbal consulting on site and sketching along with a rough estimate for the area(s).

Upon payment of the consultation fee, Elite Naturescapes will provide the customer with a Consultation Voucher.  This voucher has a value of the fee paid and can be redeemed towards either the labor portion of the project or towards supplies purchased for the project through the garden center if the customer wishes to do the project him-/herself.  The consultation voucher redemption policy is as follows.

Once the customer has accumulated purchases totaling at least $500.00 of trees, shrubs, or perennials (or pavers if a patio project) within (1) year of the issue date, then the Consultation Voucher acts as a garden center credit.  Purchases of annuals and hardgoods (baskets, lawn ornaments, mulch, etc.) do not apply towards the $500.00 accumulation.

When redeeming the voucher, the receipts from the $500.00 of plant purchases need to be presented at that time.

Option 3 – Consultation and Design
Fees start at $150.00 and go up according to size and scope of design.  Half of the design fee can be credited toward labor and the other half is non-refundable.

This option includes (2) appointments with a designer.  Please see the services listed below that are included in the design appointments.

There is a design fee of a minimum of $150.00.  The design fee is calculated on the size of the project and the amount of time spent on the design.  The customer will be responsible for any charges exceeding the $150.00 at the second appointment.  Fees start at $150.00 and go up according to the size and scope of the design.  Half of the design fee can be credited toward labor and the other half is non-refundable.

The first appointment is at the customer’s home or project site and it included the following:

• Identification of the location of the requested work
• Determination of the desired function of the improvement
• Measurements taken of the areas
• Review of the plant books and hardgood pamphlets
• Completion of landscape interview form
• Completion of customer consultation voucher, collection of fee, and
  scheduling the follow-up appointment.

The second appointment is the follow-up appointment which is conducted at Elite Naturescapes and it includes the following:

• Viewing plant and hardgood selections and options
• Presentation of the project design and estimate

Maintenance and Mulching

No Charge

If needed, this estimate may require on-site analysis to determine the cost.  The analysis will be performed by the estimator when at a nearby location of the project site.  This option does not include any consultation.  If a consultation and/or design are desired, the customer will need to choose one of the three options above.
